SFPA president, Deborah P Kolodji, will be giving a workshop on ancient, modern, and speculative haiku on Saturday at 6:30 p.m.  SFPA member and publisher of The Pedestal Magazine, John Amen, will be giving a workshop on Friday at 7:00 p.m., "Accessing Achetypal Life-Images:  Writing from the Crucial." A workshop, "Humor in Poetry" presented by SFPA member Lee Collins, will follow.

The Falling Star Magazine booth - Booth 154 in Zone A, near the food court, will have copies of the Rhysling Anthology, Alchemy of Stars, and Star*Line for sale.    Poetry programming at the festival includes Rhysling nominee Albert Goldbarth, former US poet laureate Robert Pinksy, and California state poet laureate Al Young.   Panelists of note include Ray Bradbury, Kelly Link, and David Brin.
